The reaction of (S)P[N(CH(3))N=CH-C(6)H(3)-2-OH-3-OCH(3)](3) with a Mn(II) salt followed by a Ln(III) salt (Ln = Eu, Gd and Dy), afforded linear heterometallic complexes [L(2)Mn(2)Ln](+) that showed interesting magnetic properties.
